The role of Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) in the company
Process optimization from the outset
Unlike classic Six Sigma, which focuses on improving existing processes, DFSS focuses on developing new processes or products. This reduces the likelihood of defects and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
Customer-oriented development
A key component of the DFSS methodology is a strong focus on customer requirements. Tools such as Quality Function Deployment (QFD) or Voice of the Customer (VOC) are used to ensure that the end product or service not only meets, but exceeds, customer expectations.
Design for Six Sigma training – the key to process optimization
Our Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) training is exactly what you are looking for. In line with the ASQ Six Sigma Body of Knowledge, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to the innovative methods of Design for Six Sigma. These are designed to optimize the product and process development cycle from the outset.
After completing the DFSS training, you will not only be proficient in the standard Six Sigma tools, but you will also be familiar with specialized methods aimed at the productive design and optimization of processes and products. In contrast to traditional Six Sigma training, which focuses on improving existing processes, the Design for Six Sigma course emphasizes setting quality characteristics and process capabilities correctly from the outset.
All Six Sigma trainings – from Yellow Belt to Black Belt Master – are developed and conducted by our highly qualified and experienced team.
You want to go into more detail about the Six Sigma method? Our recommendation: The Six Sigma Green Belt.
