Your Six Sigma project evidence

Our business game (ProcessSIM®) in the Lean Green Belt / Combo Six Sigma certification replaces the traditional project-based proof of Six Sigma training. In the realistic business game, participants simulate a complete Six Sigma project in one day. We follow the guidelines of the ASQ Body of Knowledge.

During the simulation, all phases of the DMAIC cycle (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) are run through. This offers participants the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a controlled but practical environment. By applying their skills directly in a simulated business situation, participants can deepen their skills, gain a sense of achievement, and strengthen their problem-solving skills.

The project proof as part of a Six Sigma Green Belt training is a practical application of the learned knowledge. It is intended to show that participants understand and can apply the methods and tools of Six Sigma. Normally, the project proof is provided by implementing a real project in the participant’s company. This involves solving a specific problem or optimizing a process. However, this often requires a lot of time and resources, since participants have to go through the entire project cycle – from defining the problem, to collecting and analyzing data, to implementing and monitoring the improvements.

A business game is always a highlight for participants and a proven concept for understanding practical process optimization and the DMAIC approach for the future.

The focus here is on the use of the basic methods of the Six Sigma concept. With the help of templates and instructions, the DMAIC cycle in particular should be followed:

D efine: recognize the problem

M easure: measure the initial situation

A nalyze: identify weak points

I mprove: integrate possibilities for improvement

C ontrol: monitor implemented measures
